Facilities – Kitale Club

GOLF COURSE

The Club has an 18-hole well lawned and expensive sitting on served acres of land and whose design is of high quality and the set up achieves ecological enhancement and blends well with the evergreen surrounding of indigenous forest as well as exotic. Replaced forest consisting of pine, cypress, jacaranda and eucalyptus trees which blends well with the indigenous tress and enhance a serene microclimate. The grass on the golf course include Bermuda, spropolus, anastida, congo signals and others all of which are well; manicured. The aforesaid flora is inhabited by the colobus monkeys and other species of different species of birds.

ROOMS & CONFERENCE HALL

The Conference hall has a modern well equipped presentation rooms. This service is built with incorporation of modern technology thus improving its efficiency eg serving area, lavatory rooms located on strategic position reducing obstruction and distraction from other events taking place in the Club.

HOTEL, LODGE AND BAR.

The fully operational Hotel offers fast food for members, reciprocating members and guests. The Club has lodge style accommodation unit for holiday accommodation for its visitors. The room are well maintained and offers bed and breakfast. The Club has two modern bars which offer variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for its members. The Club has open service area (for food) in cases where the Club holds wedding events and visitors need to serve them.

LIVESTOCK

The Club also keeps livestock for been production, currently the herds of animals. The dung from this livestock is channeled into a bio digested for the production of biogas which is used for cooking, water heaters in the Club. The bio digester is build adjacent to the cattle boma where the dung is collected, covered and transferred to the bio digester where the gas is channeled to the Club through pipes.

SWIMMING POOL, SAUNA AND GYM

The Club has a swimming pool manned by trained personnel who keep an eye on it members and guests enjoy the swimming pool and those interested are also trained. There is also swimming tournaments which are held in December. The Sauna is also a recreational facility offered where after sporting events individuals lie/sit in a room that is hot that makes one sweat an in-order to relax and clean their skin thoroughly. The Club has a modern gym area where member and guest have physical exercises and other services supervised by qualified trainers.

SQUASH AND SNOOKER

Snooker is amongst its ancient sports. The Club has well maintained snooker tables where the members enjoy their game. It’s a game involving balls on large table the player use a long stick to hit a white ball ad score points by knocking colored balls into the pockets at the sides of the table. It resembles the modern day pool table. The squash has a playing room. It is well kept room which operates on self-training basis. It has a screen where the individual can play a DVD and train alongside it. For squash game, the individuals hits a small rubber ball against the walls of a courts using rackets and ball bounces back to the individuals in a self-training experience.
